Fire Protection Services Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting services, inspection, and repairs of fire protection systems at client locations.
• Read blueprints for existing pipe layout and make the right equipment accommodations to complete the project.
• Communicate with customers to understand system deficiencies and be able to make recommendations for repair.
• Document inspections, repairs and deficiencies.
• Share job information for follow up quotes, questions, or concerns.
• Maintain a safe work environment and remain in compliance of the companies safety protocols
• Operate Paradigm Fire Services technology product at site to commission, test and verify fire protection systems.
• Work independently, or part of a small crew, and report to the Project Manager, who will also train and guide you
• Processing site service reports

Requirements:

• 1-3 years previous experience in fire suppression remediation and installation preferred.
• Strong technical background supplemented with practical knowledge.
• Willing to learn new technologies and digital operation.
• Willing to work internationally and on offshore installation.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strong attention to detail while in a physically demanding environment.
• Hold a diploma in a technical field (plumbing/electricity/electro mechanics/automotive techniques, etc.)
• Do you not have the required diploma, but you do have the necessary experience? Then you are also eligible for this job
• VCA certificate is a plus
• Follow procedures and work documents.
• Customer-oriented and communicative
• Fluent in English , Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
