A common issue encountered today in the more challenging and complex wells are a multitude of vibration mechanisms that all lead to a loss in drilling efficiency, cause premature tool damage. This can result in poor hole quality, causing lost time, equipment and economic impact to both the operator and service companies. We have developed a number of technologies to mitigate and reduce the vibration, and at times limit and/or prevent the occurrence of vibration from starting in the first instance, thus increasing tool reliability and improving drilling efficiency, saving time and money.
